Welcome to Deaths Asylum
Deaths Asylum was founded by Hunter and Hoopty as an Enemy Territory clan. They had been in a clan together called TK1 and one day Hunter got the notion to start a clan and DA was born. Hunter and Hoopty began the process of recruiting for their new ET clan. During this time they had some of their old buddies from TK1 ringing for them in scrims. The first scrim Deaths Asylum had was against O:S, a dwindling clan. Soon after the leader of O:S, Gryg, contacted Hunter about a possible merger of the clans. With the merger, Gryg provided a private server and enough players to be a full team.
Once Deaths Aslyum was able to have a complete team, they began to focus on getting into competition. They practiced and scrimmed nightly as they joined their first league, STA. Sadly, DA never finished that season, but moved onto joining TWL ladder for preparation of joining the Beta league. Things began to come together for this clan as they assembled a solid starting crew. Since then DA has been in every TWL Beta season, played CAL-O one season, had a few 3v3 teams, and are now in the invite only WPL. Rosters have changed over the course of seasons but many of the original core members are still here.
Eventually Deaths Asylum would grow to become a multi-gaming clan. They got a new dedicated server box that they shared with another clan. Initially it was only filled with ET servers. That changed as soon as Primo joined Deaths Asylum. He joined to play on the ET Beta Team, but he eventually decided to start a Counter Strike: Source team under the DA Banner. Hunter liked the idea of branching off into others games and embraced becoming a multi-game clan. He created CS:S servers and Deaths Asylum assembled a team to compete. Eventually, the CS:S team lost interest and the division was cut.
Deaths Asylum then began a team for Call of Duty 2. This team has started slowly, but it is now growing. The clan continues to grow to great lengths. This clan started off as a bunch of Enemy Territory players who wanted to have a competitive clan and has grown into competing for many games. Deaths Asylum was never thought to reach beyond the time of ET, but it appears it will last throughout lots of games.
